Flipped Learning 13th October 2017

This weekend please research what scientists mean by the terms reversible and irreversible changes. Can you think of any examples of these types of changes?

  1. Reversible means where you do something to a thing and you can change it back to the way it was before like when you freeze water it becomes ice and when you melt the ice it becomes water again.

Irreversible means where you change something and you cant get it back to the way it was before. Like when you put bread in the toaster it heats up and becomes toast. You cant change toast to bread again because you have already put heat on it.
